Logistics Co-ordinator Vehicle Leasing

Location: Basildon, Essex Salary: £26,500 basic + delivery bonus (expected total earnings of £28,000) Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am 5pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch Contract: Full-time, permanent Holiday: 23 days + bank holidays

ACS Recruitment Consultancy is recruiting a Logistics Co-ordinator to join our client s central administration team in Basildon.

Previous motor trade or vehicle leasing experience is not essential but would be helpful. Our client places greater importance on a positive attitude, a practical approach to solving problems and a willingness to learn and progress.

The role:

You ll help co-ordinate vehicle orders through to delivery, keeping records accurate and ensuring customers and sales colleagues receive clear, timely updates.

Your responsibilities will include:

Maintaining the vehicle order database and keeping information up to date.
Obtaining regular updates on vehicle availability and order progress.
Arranging the fitting of additional vehicle equipment and extras.
Liaising with customers and the sales team about delivery dates, requirements and updates.
Preparing customer documentation accurately.
Supporting the administration team with day-to-day tasks and additional duties as required.

What we re looking for:

Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise your workload.
Good attention to detail and an organised approach to administration.
Clear, confident communication skills and a polite, friendly manner.
IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A flexible, positive attitude and the initiative to ask questions and solve problems.
A genuine willingness to learn and develop within the role.

Experience in administration, customer service, logistics or co-ordination could be useful, but applications are also welcomed from candidates with transferable skills and the right attitude.

What s on offer?

£26,500 basic salary.
A bonus of £1 per vehicle delivery, with expected total earnings of £28,000.
Monday-to-Friday working hours.
23 days holiday plus bank holidays.
A permanent opportunity within an established vehicle leasing and fleet management business.
