Job description
Purchase Ledger Clerk Location: Nottingham Salary: £27,000 - £28,000 Temporary ongoing
SF Partners is currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a busy finance team on a temporary basis. This is a great opportunity for someone with previous purchase ledger experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and can hit the ground running.
The role will include:
Processing high volumes of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently.
Matching invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes.
Reconciling supplier statements and investigating discrepancies.
Preparing and processing payment runs.
Dealing with supplier queries and resolving invoice and payment issues.
Maintaining accurate supplier records and ensuring invoices are authorised correctly.
Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc duties as required.
About you:
Previous experience within a purchase ledger or accounts payable role.
Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
Confident communicating with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Able to manage workloads effectively and meet deadlines.
Comfortable using finance systems and Microsoft Excel.
