Governance Administrator - 12 month FTC

28,436 per annum

Chelmsford

Full-Time

We are looking for a Governance Administrator for a 12 month FTC, to support the Data Protection Officer with the coordination of the response to Subject Access Requests and any Data Breach investigations and ensure we have appropriate agreements in place with other organisations such as Data Sharing Agreements. Your line manager is the Head of Governance and Assurance/ Company Secretary.

What you'll be doing

(Assist the Data Protection Officer with Subject Access Request requests and Data Breach/Data Protection administration.
Support the Data Protection Officer with the organising and management of the GDPR/Data Protection Project Group.
Assist the Data Protection Officer in responding to internal audit enquires.
Support the Head of Governance and Assurance and the Governance and Assurance team with any tasks if and when required.
Undertake any other responsibilities relevant to this post, as directed by your line manager.

What we are looking for

Evidence of competence in administrative processes/procedures.
Good track record in maintaining data/record systems and developing knowledge of further applications.
Confident organiser.
Ability to use own initiative.
Good attention to detail and accuracy.

Please note the office expectancy of this role is as follows: This role will require you in more initially for a period of training, before operating a hybrid working model where you will be expected in a minimum of 2 days a week or as per business need.
