Customer Support Advisor

£24,500 6 month fixed term contract

Chester Full-Time Office Based

Do you enjoy building relationships, delivering outstanding customer service and being part of a fast-paced commercial team?

We're working with a well-established and growing business that supports a large network of independent operators across the UK. They are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Customer Support Advisor to join their head office team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys speaking with customers, identifying opportunities to add value, and ensuring a seamless customer experience from order through to delivery.

As a Customer Support Advisor, you'll be the first point of contact for a portfolio of customers, building strong relationships while managing orders, resolving queries and promoting products and services that help their businesses succeed. The role combines customer service, account management and sales support, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a varied workload and thrives in a relationship-driven environment.

What You'll Be Doing

Managing regular contact with an assigned customer base
Processing orders accurately and efficiently
Building strong, long-term customer relationships
Promoting key products, offers and initiatives
Encouraging engagement with online ordering systems and digital tools
Handling customer enquiries via phone, email and other communication channels
Liaising with internal departments, suppliers and operational teams
Investigating and resolving order, supply and delivery issues
Supporting wider team activities and operational projects when required

What We're Looking For

Previous experience within customer service, sales support, account management or a telephone-based customer environment
A confident and professional communication style
Strong relationship-building skills
Excellent organisation and time management abilities
Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a busy environment
Positive, proactive and adaptable approach
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other office systems
A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences

If you're someone who enjoys helping customers, spotting opportunities and making a real impact within a commercial team, we'd love to hear from you.
