Job description

Your new company A well-established organisation is looking to expand its operations team with the appointment of both permanent and 12-month FTC Customer Service Coordinators. This is a fast-paced, customer-focused role where you'll play a key part in coordinating service delivery, liaising with suppliers and ensuring work is completed to the highest standards. Candidates with B2 B customer service experience and those who have worked within a security control room, monitoring centre or security operations environment are particularly encouraged to apply. Working as part of a supportive team, you'll be joining a business that values collaboration, attention to detail and delivering an excellent customer experience.

Your new role

You'll act as a central point of contact for customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders, helping to ensure jobs are scheduled, completed and quality checked efficiently.

Booking and coordinating work requests on behalf of customers
Liaising with local suppliers and contractors to arrange completion of jobs
Monitoring the progress of ongoing work and providing updates where required
Reviewing inspection reports and carrying out quality checks before issuing them to customers
Maintaining accurate records and updating internal spreadsheets and systems
Resolving customer queries over the phone and via email
Working closely with colleagues to ensure service levels and customer expectations are achieved

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you'll be a confident communicator who enjoys speaking with customers and thrives in a busy operational environment.

A minimum of two years' customer service experience within a phone-based role
Ideally, experience providing B2 B customer service and managing relationships with business customers
Previous experience within the security industry, security operations, monitoring services or a security control room environment would be highly advantageous
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Experience using spreadsheets and maintaining accurate records
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong attention to detail, particularly when reviewing documentation and reports
A proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem-solving
The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a close-knit team
Confidence working with various systems and administrative processes
