Job description

Sales Administrator / Coordinator

Location: Watford, Hertfordshire Salary: 27,000 to 35,000 Job Type: Permanent Working Pattern: Full-time, office based

FC Engineering Recruitment is working with an established business in Watford who are looking to recruit a Sales Administrator / Coordinator to join their team.

This is a varied role supporting the sales function and helping to ensure customers, orders and internal processes are managed efficiently.

The successful candidate will be organised, customer-focused and comfortable working in a busy environment where attention to detail is important.

As a Sales Administrator / Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:

Providing administrative support to the sales team
Processing and managing customer orders
Preparing quotations and sales documentation
Responding to customer enquiries by phone and email
Liaising with customers regarding orders, deliveries and requirements
Updating internal systems and maintaining accurate records
Coordinating with internal departments to ensure orders are progressed effectively
Monitoring order progress and keeping customers updated
Assisting with invoicing and other sales administration
Maintaining customer information and documentation
Supporting the sales team with general administrative tasks
Helping to ensure a high level of customer service is maintained

You will ideally have:

Previous experience in sales administration, sales coordination, customer service or a similar administrative role
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Good attention to detail
Confidence communicating with customers and internal teams
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
Experience using CRM or business management systems would be advantageous
The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
A proactive and professional approach
