Job description

Our client in Newton Aycliffe is looking for a Sourcing Administrator to join their team on an ongoing temporary basis.

This role would suit a dynamic individual who would be happy working within a fast-paced, operational environment. It involves a diverse range of tasks, from supporting flow into the company's key manufacturing location, to supporting other areas of the business, such as relevant project support, change management, database management, systematic housekeeping and process development.

Responsibilities and Key Tasks:

General assistance in day-to-day operations
Assist with PO/contract release to suppliers
Price changes and maintenance on system
Invoice queries and alignment with Accounts Payable
General housekeeping
Supplier alignment on local consumables
System support, transactions in ERP system
Cross functional alignment with local stakeholders
Database maintenance.

Additional Skills/Qualifications Required:

Excellent planning and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks
Ability to work both as part of a team and independently
Excellent IT skills, especially within Microsoft Office.
General Supply Chain Management experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
