Job description

An excellent opportunity for a Paralegal to join the Private Funds team of a top-tier US law firm in London. You'll gain hands-on exposure across fund formation, closings, investments and regulatory matters.

Our client is a top-tier US law firm with a highly regarded Private Funds practice in London. The team advises on sophisticated private investment fund matters and offers exposure to high-quality, international work.

Description

The Private Funds Paralegal will support the team across the full lifecycle of private investment funds, including:

Assisting with private fund formation, closings, investments and transactions
Drafting and reviewing fund formation and subscription documents
Assisting with private placement memoranda and related documentation
Supporting regulatory matters, including AIFMD and UK and EU requirements
Managing closing checklists, signatures and document execution
Liaising with clients, investors and external service providers
Conducting legal and regulatory research
Maintaining fund documentation, trackers and electronic files
Providing wider transactional and administrative support to the team

Profile

The successful candidate will be degree educated with excellent drafting, communication and organisational skills. You will be highly detail-oriented, resilient and comfortable managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills are essential, alongside the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Previous legal or Private Funds experience would be advantageous.
