FNOL Motor Claims Handler

Wilmslow

£24,500 - £27,000 DOE

Monday-Friday 9am-5pm

MPJ Recruitment are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing business within the motor claims sector for an experienced FNOL Claims Handler.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with claims, insurance or customer service experience who enjoys helping customers and managing claims from first notification through to resolution.

The Role

As an FNOL Claims Handler, you will be the first point of contact for customers following a motor incident. You will gather key information, provide support and guidance, and ensure claims are progressed efficiently while delivering an excellent customer experience.

Key responsibilities include:

Taking incoming claims and accurately recording incident details.
Handling First Notification of Loss (FNOL) calls.
Managing claims from initial notification through to the next stage of the process.
Liaising with customers, insurers, repairers and third-party representatives.
Updating internal systems with accurate claim information.
Providing clear and professional communication throughout the customer journey.
Ensuring all regulatory and company procedures are followed.
Delivering outstanding customer service at every stage of the claim.

What We're Looking For

Previous FNOL, motor claims or insurance experience would be advantageous.
Strong telephone and customer service skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to manage workloads in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
A positive and professional approach to customer service.

Package

Salary up to £27,000 depending on experience.
Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm.
Office-based role in Wilmslow.
22 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays.
One Saturday every six weeks, paid at 1.5x your normal rate.
Overtime available at 1.5x your normal rate.
