Location: Slough (Site-Based) Salary: £26,000 per annum Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Facilities Administrator to join a busy on-site Facilities Management team in Slough.
This is a varied and fast-paced role supporting the day-to-day operations of a commercial building, ensuring maintenance activities, compliance documentation and client communications are managed efficiently. The successful candidate will act as a key point of contact for engineers, contractors, clients and occupiers, helping to ensure the smooth running of the site.
Key Responsibilities
•Provide administrative support to the Facilities and Engineering teams.
•Raise, manage and track reactive and planned maintenance requests through CAFM systems.
•Monitor and update Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules.
•Maintain site compliance records and health & safety documentation.
•Coordinate contractor attendance, permits to work and access requirements.
•Respond to client and occupier queries via email and telephone.
•Produce reports, spreadsheets and contract documentation as required.
•Support the processing of purchase orders and invoices.
•Organise meetings and maintain accurate site records and filing systems.
•Assist with general office administration duties.
Experience & Skills Required
•Previous experience in an Administrative, Facilities Administration, Helpdesk or Coordinator position.
•Experience within Facilities Management, Property, Building Services or Engineering environments would be advantageous.
•Strong organisational and time management skills.
•Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
•Experience using CAFM systems is desirable.
•Professional and customer-focused approach.
•Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
