Job description

Your new company Central Bath business Your new roleAre you an organised and detail-oriented finance professional looking for a flexible part-time opportunity in the heart of Bath? We are seeking a proactive Accounts Assistant to join a friendly and supportive team, playing a key role in the day-to-day running of the finance function.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous finance or accounts experience who enjoys working in a varied role and being part of a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

Processing purchase invoices and supplier payments
Raising sales invoices and allocating customer receipts
Reconciling bank accounts and control accounts
Assisting with credit control activities
Maintaining accurate financial records and data entry
Supporting month-end processes and reporting
Handling finance-related queries from suppliers and internal stakeholders

What you'll need to succeed

Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant, Accounts Administrator, Finance Assistant or similar role
Confident using finance systems and Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Able to work independently and manage priorities effectively
AAT studies or qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential
