Job description
An established London law firm is seeking a Family Paralegal to join its highly regarded team on a 12-month contract. The successful candidate will support lawyers on a broad range of complex family matters, acting for high-net-worth individuals and families across both contentious and non-contentious work.

Description
Assist fee earners and partners on a broad range of family law matters
Support cases involving divorce and financial remedy proceedings
Assist with private children matters and related applications
Prepare legal documents, court bundles, and correspondence
Conduct legal research and prepare case summaries
Liaise with clients, barristers, experts, and third parties
Manage document review and disclosure exercises
Assist with mediation, arbitration, and negotiated settlements
Maintain accurate matter records and case management systems
Support business development and client relationship activities
Attend meetings, hearings, and client appointments where required
Manage deadlines and competing priorities effectively
Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
Provide general administrative and legal support to the Family team
Profile
Previous experience as a Family Paralegal is essential
Strong understanding of family law procedures and processes
Experience supporting financial and/or children matters
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organisational and time management abilities
Ability to prioritise a busy workload effectively
High level of attention to detail
Professional and client-focused approach
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Proactive and self-motivated attitude
Strong interpersonal skills
