Residential Property Paralegal

Location: Wokingham, Berkshire

Salary: Competitive + benefits

Type: Full-time, Permanent

A well-established Thames Valley law firm is looking for a Residential Property Paralegal to join its busy Wokingham team.

This is a great opportunity for someone with previous residential property experience as a Legal Assistant or Conveyancing Assistant who is now looking to develop their career further within conveyancing.

The Role

Supporting experienced residential property solicitors across a varied caseload, you will gain hands-on experience throughout the conveyancing process, including:

Opening and progressing residential property files
Preparing contract packs and completion documentation
Drafting Certificates of Title
Carrying out searches and submitting SDLT returns
Preparing and submitting Land Registry applications
Dealing with Land Registry requisitions
Liaising with clients, agents, lenders and solicitors

About You

Previous residential property experience as a Legal Assistant or Conveyancing Assistant is essential
Ideally educated to degree level, preferably with a Law degree
Good understanding of the residential conveyancing process
Strong organisation and attention to detail
Excellent communication and client care skills
Keen to develop a career within residential property
