Job description

Accounts Assistant

2 month temp role

Location: London, UK

Hourly rate: £17/hour

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organised Accounts Assistant to join a reputable investment firm located in the vibrant West End of London for the next 2 months. You will be responsible for providing assistance for their treasury department with financial and administrative tasks to ensure correct and timely payments and tracking.

What You Will Do

Working as part of a team, your responsibilities will include:

Process and verify details for international payments making sure everything is accurate and completed on time.
Follow agreed payment controls and approval procedures, assisting with troubleshooting where issues arise
Assist with expense validation and reconciliation
Assist with monitoring cash positions including forecasting and reporting
Provide support during audits and offer general assistance to the wider finance function
Work closely with the team, supporting more senior colleagues with daily tasks and priorities

Who you are

We are looking for a detail-focused candidate who wants to join a progressive firm. We are looking for:-

A minimum of 2 years experience in an accounts team and working knowledge of of treasury fundamentals
Able to work in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail
A methodical, detail-focused approach with genuine enthusiasm for learning
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Studies in finance, accounting, or a related field is desirable
Tech savvy and able to pick up new systems (experience using SAP is highly desirable)
