Job description
Join our team as a Marketing Assistant and play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy of our marketing data, updating our channels, and supporting various projects and day-to-day activities within the marketing department.
Marketing Assistant (Temporary, Part-Time)
Start Date: asap
Duration: Initially 10 weeks, with possible extension
Hours: Three days a week (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday), 08:30 - 17:00
Location: Milton Keynes, fully office based
Reports to: Head of Marketing
Join our team as a Marketing Assistant and play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy of our marketing data, updating our channels, and supporting various projects and day-to-day activities within the marketing department.
Day-to-day of the role:
Process new subscribers and leads in Salesforce, ensuring records are accurate and up to date.
Upload prepared content to our social media scheduling platform.
Update our website with new content, including text, images, and links.
Assist the marketing team with project administration and ad hoc tasks.
Occasionally support other activities as required to assist the business.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience in a marketing role, such as a Marketing Assistant or Coordinator.
Experience in data entry or administrative roles.
Proficient in using a CRM, ideally Salesforce, to process records such as leads and contacts.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Confident in using spreadsheets and Microsoft Office.
Well-organised, able to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
Good written English.
Desirable Skills:
Some exposure to WordPress, Sprout Social, or DotDigital.
Awareness of General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) when handling personal data.
