As a Credit Controller in Milton Keynes within the FMCG industry, you'll play a key role in managing customer accounts and ensuring timely payments. This temporary role will help maintain the company's cash flow and financial health.

Description
•Proactively chase all debt owing to the company by telephone and email
•Protect the company at all times against credit risk
•Know your customer, build and document a knowledge profile of your key customers
•Deal with customer queries, seek appropriate resolutions both in immediate and long term
•Liaise with internal departments to resolve issues preventing payment
•Manage your unallocated cash on a pre-emptive basis
•Identify slow paying or potential bad debt customers and monitor regularly
•Issue statements to customers as required
•Manage your daily debt report
•Ad-hoc administration duties
Profile
A successful Credit Controller should have:
Solid credit control experience within a commercial environment
•Outgoing and confident personality who is able to operate at all levels
•Self-starter who is driven to set and achieve goals
•Strong organisational & time management skills
•Ability to negotiate outstanding aged debt and maximise payment to UCC
•Proactive and able to recognise potential risks which need to be escalated
•Good keyboard skills and competence of Word, Excel and Outlook
•High standard of numeracy, accuracy with attention to detail
•Team player with a flexible approach and a willingness to learn
Job Offer
•Competitive hourly rate of £14.00 to £16.00, dependent on the level of experience.
•Temporary 4 mobth role y in Milton Keynes.
