Experienced Family Paralegal
Location: Surrey, South East
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Circa £28,000-£32,000 (DOE)
Day-to-day of the role:
Assist family solicitors in managing caseloads involving divorce, child custody, and property settlements.
Prepare legal documents, briefs, and letters under the supervision of solicitors.
Conduct legal research and compile evidence for cases.
Manage client communications and provide updates on case progress.
Handle administrative tasks such as filing, copying, and maintaining case files.
Attend court proceedings and client meetings alongside solicitors.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Paralegal within a family law team, with fee-earning capabilities.
Strong understanding of family law and court procedures.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Relevant paralegal qualification or equivalent legal experience.
