Paralegal - Private Client Department
Location: Wallington, Surrey
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 (Depending on Experience)
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Paralegal to join our Private Client Department. The successful candidate will assist our solicitors in providing comprehensive legal services to our clients, including but not limited to:
Key Responsibilities:
Assist solicitors in providing expert legal advice and support to clients on a range of private client matters
Draft and review legal documents with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Manage a diverse caseload efficiently, ensuring all deadlines are met
Liaise with clients, colleagues, and third parties in a professional and courteous manner
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and firm policies and procedures
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Paralegal in private client law is essential, and fee earning within this field, desirable.
Proven experience in drafting Wills, LPAs, Declarations of Trust, and assisting with estate administration
Strong knowledge of Court of Protection and deputyship matters
Experience in contentious probate and trust administration is desirable
Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
Ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively
High level of professionalism and integrity
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
