Tailored Search are proud to be partnering with a high growth Birmingham business undergoing an exciting period of transformation. With a brilliant culture built on trust, collaboration and continuous improvement, they're now looking to appoint a Purchase Ledger Manager to lead a team of three and elevate the AP function.

The Opportunity

This is a role for someone who thrives in a changing environment. You'll take ownership of the purchase ledger, drive process improvements, and play a key part in shaping how the function evolves as the business continues to scale.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, coach and develop a team of three Purchase Ledger Clerks
Oversee the full purchase ledger process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
Drive improvements across systems, controls and workflows
Build strong supplier relationships and resolve queries promptly
Support month-end activities including reconciliations and reporting
Partner with the wider finance team during a period of transformation

About You

Strong background in Purchase Ledger / Accounts Payable
Experience leading or mentoring a small team
Process-driven with a continuous improvement mindset
Confident communicator who enjoys working collaboratively
Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment
