Job description

HR Coordinator, 12 month FTC - London (Hybrid) - £34,793 per annum

We're supporting a leading cultural and scientific organisation in London in their search for an experienced and organised HR Coordinator to join their team.

This is a varied role covering HR administration, payroll, employee relations, recruitment and onboarding, as well as supporting HR projects and process improvements.

Key responsibilities

Process contractual and payroll changes accurately and within deadlines.
Provide advice and support on HR policies, procedures and employee queries.
Support employee relations cases, including probation, absence, disciplinary and grievance matters.
Coordinate occupational health referrals, family leave and reasonable adjustments.
Support recruitment campaigns, pre-employment checks and onboarding.
Maintain accurate HR records and monitor key compliance dates.
Contribute to HR projects and process improvements.

About you

You'll be an organised, proactive HR professional with:

Previous experience working within an HR team.
Good knowledge of HR processes and employee lifecycle administration.
Experience supporting employee relations and advising on HR policies.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
Good payroll and numerical knowledge.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
The ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
A collaborative approach and commitment to delivering excellent HR support.
Basic DBS required
