Recruitment & Culture Lead - County Antrim - Newly created opportunity

At a Glance

Newly created role with a successful, family-owned organisation
Opportunity to shape talent attraction, employee engagement and employer brand
Salary of £35,000-£40,000
Full-time or reduced hours considered
Based on-site, with occasional travel across the UK and Ireland

About the Company

MCS Group is delighted to be partnering exclusively with a highly successful organisation to appoint a Recruitment & Culture Lead.

Employing almost 400 people, the organisation works with an impressive portfolio of household-name brands and is continuing to grow through investment and acquisition across the UK and Ireland.

Despite this growth, the business remains proudly family-owned, with a warm, inclusive culture and a genuine commitment to maintaining personal connections with its people.

The Role

This is a newly created role sitting at the intersection of HR and Marketing, with responsibility for bringing the company's culture and employee experience to life.

You will lead creative talent-attraction campaigns, strengthen the organisation's employer brand and develop engaging initiatives that connect employees across multiple locations.

This is not a traditional HR or recruitment position. It will suit someone creative, naturally engaging and full of ideas - someone who can spot an opportunity, build momentum and make things happen.

Key Responsibilities

Develop creative recruitment and employer-branding campaigns across LinkedIn and other relevant social channels
Proactively identify and engage talent using LinkedIn Recruiter and direct sourcing methods
Produce engaging content, including employee stories, "day in the life" features and video campaigns
Manage social media activity relating to recruitment, culture and employee engagement
Create internal newsletters and communications that connect employees across the wider group
Develop and deliver employee-engagement initiatives, wellbeing campaigns and internal events
Build employee profiles and coordinate photography and content for new appointments
Partner closely with HR, Marketing and senior leadership to support recruitment and retention
Represent the business at schools, colleges, universities and external careers events
Support the development of the company's training academy and initiatives designed to attract younger talent
Visit other company locations to build relationships, gather content and support local engagement

The Person

The successful candidate will be a creative and confident communicator who enjoys engaging with people at every level of an organisation.

You may come from talent acquisition, recruitment marketing, employer branding, internal communications, social media or employee engagement. More important than a specific job title is your ability to generate ideas, build relationships and turn plans into action.

You will ideally have:

Experience within recruitment, marketing, communications, employer branding or a related field
Strong social media and content-creation skills
A proactive approach, with the confidence to take ownership of new initiatives
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
The ability to engage credibly with employees, candidates and senior leaders
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects
A positive, inquisitive and energetic personality
A willingness to travel occasionally across company locations

What's on Offer?

Salary of £35,000-£40,000
Full-time position, with a 30-hour working week also considered
Company pension
Employee discount and benefits platform
Flexibility around personal appointments and commitments
The opportunity to create and shape a high-impact role from the beginning
Genuine exposure to senior leadership within a growing organisation
Scope to make a visible difference to the company's culture and employer brand
