Credit Controller

MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with an industry leading organisation as they seek a Credit Controller for an initial 6 month temporary assignment.

The Company

Our client is a well-established and reputable organisation with a strong presence in their sector, currently experiencing an exciting period of growth. Due to the growth, they are recruiting people on an initial temporary basis, with possibility for extension.

As a Credit Controller, this role offers:

Salary: £28,750

The Role

As a Credit Controller, this role will involve:

Managing a portfolio of customer accounts and following up on outstanding balances
Negotiating and agreeing appropriate payment plans
Ensuring debts are managed in line with internal policies and procedures
Escalating overdue or high-risk accounts when required
Maintaining accurate records while delivering a high level of service

The Person

The successful candidate who secures the Credit Control position will have:

Strong communication skills and confidence handling phone-based conversations
Ability to manage challenging situations with professionalism and empathy
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and general IT systems
