Accounts Assistant £30,000 - £35,000 DOE + Study Support (if required) Warrington Hybrid Working (3 Days Office / 2 Days Home) Early Finish Fridays Axon Moore are delighted to be partnering exclusively with a market-leading international business in Warrington to recruit an Accounts Assistant.

The Role

Reporting to the Finance Director, responsibilities will include:

Managing the purchase ledger function, including invoice processing and supplier reconciliations
Supporting sales ledger and accounts receivable activities
Cash allocation and daily banking duties
Assisting with treasury activities and cash management
Managing bank reconciliations and maintaining banking records
Processing and reconciling company credit card transactions
Supporting payroll administration and related finance processes
Assisting with month-end finance tasks
Resolving supplier and customer queries
Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with internal controls
Providing support across the wider finance team as required

About You

We are keen to speak with candidates who:

Have previous experience within an Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant or similar role
Have strong purchase ledger experience, with some exposure to wider finance responsibilities
Possess excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Are confident using Excel and finance systems
Have a proactive, hands-on approach
Enjoy working as part of a small team and building strong working relationships
Have excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
