Finance Officer

We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Officer to join our Cardiff-based team.

Operating within the exciting Technology sector, our business specialises in distribution rather than manufacturing, creating a fast-paced environment where finance plays a key role in supporting daily operations and delivering excellent service to customers and partners.

The Role

As Finance Officer, you'll support the smooth running of the finance function and play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and processes.

Key responsibilities will include:

Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
Managing customer and supplier invoices
Reconciling bank accounts and financial records
Supporting month-end finance activities
Assisting with cash flow monitoring and reporting
Chasing outstanding payments and managing credit control activities
Maintaining accurate financial documentation and records
Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc duties and projects

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

Previous experience in a finance, accounts or bookkeeping position
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Comfortable working with financial systems and Microsoft Excel
A strong communicator who enjoys working collaboratively
Positive, approachable and willing to get involved with the wider team
Able to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment
Reliable, professional and eager to contribute
