Marketing Executive
Annual Salary: £36,000 - £37,000
Location: Office-based
Job Type: Full-time, Maternity Cover
We are seeking a Marketing Executive to manage our digital marketing, content creation, and market research activities during maternity cover. This role is crucial for growing brand awareness and generating leads across our UK and European markets. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, capable of managing campaigns and producing high-quality content independently.
Day-to-day of the role:
Digital Marketing and Social Content:
Take charge of daily delivery and optimisation of Google Ads and paid LinkedIn campaigns within set plans and budgets.
Monitor campaign performance, assess lead quality, report on results, and suggest improvements.
Plan, create, and publish organic content for LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok, tailoring it to each platform.
Manage YouTube video uploads, including optimising titles, descriptions, thumbnails, and publishing details.
Maintain the content calendar and coordinate with the Marketing Manager and external designers for creative assets.
Copywriting:
Research, write, and edit various materials including blogs, articles, case studies, website and campaign copy, and social media captions.
Transform product information, customer stories, and industry developments into clear, engaging content for specific audiences.
Market Research and Sales Support:
Daily review of industry news to identify potential stories, content ideas, and market opportunities.
Communicate valuable insights to the sales team to aid in targeting and outreach.
Conduct research on target organisations and relevant contacts to support sales priorities.
Trade Shows and Events:
Handle marketing tasks for trade shows, including preparation of forms, lead capture processes, and event logistics.
Attend trade shows in the UK and potentially Germany, capturing content and supporting social media coverage.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in managing Google Ads and paid LinkedIn campaigns.
Excellent copywriting skills with a portfolio of written work.
Strong market research abilities with a knack for identifying commercially valuable insights.
Experience in creating and managing organic social content across multiple platforms.
Ability to work independently, take ownership of your tasks, and deliver precise, well-considered outputs.
Outgoing and approachable, capable of building strong working relationships.
