Job description

Commercial Property Paralegal

£30k+

Bromley (BR1) with hybrid working

Our client, a well-established law firm with a highly regarded Commercial Property team, is looking to recruit an experienced Commercial Property Paralegal to join its busy and growing department.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive Paralegal with previous commercial property experience to work closely with experienced fee earners, gain strong client exposure and take on increasing responsibility.

The successful candidate will support a broad range of commercial property transactions from initial instruction through to completion and post-completion.

Responsibilities will include:

Assisting with the drafting of CPSE replies, Licences to Alter, Rent Deposit Deeds, Transfers, Deeds of Assignment, Licences to Assign and other ancillary documentation.
Reviewing title documents, searches and planning information and identifying key property issues.
Assisting with Reports on Title and wider transactional due diligence.
Supporting fee earners throughout the lifecycle of transactions and proactively progressing matters.
Liaising with clients, solicitors, agents, lenders and other third parties.
Monitoring transaction timetables and deadlines.
Assisting with post-completion matters, including SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications.
Preparing completion statements and other transaction-related documentation.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Commercial PropertyParalegal and a good understanding of commercial property transactions and processes.

You will need strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment.
Strong communication and client care skills are important, along with a proactive, professional and team-focused approach.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience with legal case management systems and property search tools would also be beneficial.
