Job description

Supply Chain Administrator

Walker Cole International is supporting an established pharmaceutical organisation in the search for a Supply Chain Administrator to join its Operations team in London. The business supplies a growing portfolio of medicines and works with contract manufacturers and logistics partners to get products to patients on time and in full.

This is a great opportunity for someone with logistics, freight or supply chain experience to step into a regulated pharmaceutical environment. You'll join a small, close-knit team where you get real exposure and ownership from day one, with clear scope to develop into supply chain planning and sustainability.

Your responsibilities as the Supply Chain Administrator will include:

Coordinating the movement of stock from contract manufacturers to warehouses across the UK and Europe, using approved GDP (Good Distribution Practice) transport providers.
Completing import and export documentation accurately and resolving or escalating shipment and booking issues promptly.
Producing weekly stock reports, analysing the data and flagging potential stock shortages early to protect supply.
Maintaining full compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), GDP and SOPs and supporting internal and external audits.

A successful candidate for the Supply Chain Administrator role must demonstrate the following:

At least 1 year of experience in a supply chain, logistics, freight forwarding or 3 PL role, ideally within pharmaceutical, medical devices or another regulated industry.
A good understanding of supply chain processes, stock management and shipping documentation.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills, with the confidence to analyse data and question the numbers.
A proactive, confident approach, with the ability to build relationships and resolve issues independently.
Experience with SAP or a similar ERP system would be advantageous.
