Job description

Location: Central London, hybrid (2 days on site per week) Contract: Temporary, 3 months Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week Pay: £18.63 per hour (+ £2.25 holiday pay) (circa £36,000 salaried equivalent) Start Date: ASAP

Prospectus is delighted to be supporting our client, a major international health charity, in their search for a temporary Digital Editor.

This role provides an exciting opportunity for an experienced communications professional to utilise adn refine their skills, with a chance to immediately support to an impactful organisation by delivering meaningful and engaging content.

Key Responsibilities:

Write, edit, and publish engaging digital content across websites, email communications, and campaign channels.
Create multimedia content including articles, videos, audio, and other digital assets.
Interview stakeholders and contributors to develop compelling first-person stories.
Support the delivery of email marketing campaigns and regular supporter communications.
Produce and schedule social media content to promote digital campaigns and content.
Monitor content performance using analytics tools and provide recommendations for improvement.
Contribute to the development of new digital storytelling techniques and website features.
Work collaboratively with internal teams to deliver integrated communications and fundraising campaigns.
Maintain high editorial standards, ensuring content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with brand guidelines.
Provide support to wider digital and social media activity during peak periods.

Key Requirements:

Recent, relevant experience in a similar communications or marketing role within a charitable or other not-for-profit organisation.
High level of organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to build strong stakeholder relationships.
Collaborative and proactive approach, with the capability to work both independently and in a team.
