Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm

Hybrid working available after successful completion of initial training and settling-in period

We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established financial services organisation seeking an Administrator to join their Financial Crime team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build a career in Financial Services, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Compliance, or Financial Crime within a supportive and regulated environment.

The position will begin on a temporary basis, offering an excellent route into the sector, with genuine long-term and permanent opportunities available for successful candidates.

The Role

You'll play an important role in protecting the business from financial crime by reviewing and investigating transaction monitoring alerts and supporting wider financial crime activities.

Key responsibilities include:

Reviewing and investigating transaction monitoring alerts in line with established procedures.
Analysing customer activity to identify unusual or potentially suspicious transactions.
Conducting initial investigations and gathering supporting information.
Maintaining clear and accurate records within case management systems.
Escalating potentially suspicious activity where appropriate.
Supporting wider financial crime investigations and assurance activities.
Producing management information and maintaining accurate reporting records.
Keeping up to date with AML regulations, industry developments and emerging financial crime trends.

What We're Looking For

Essential

Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Good judgement and the ability to make risk-based decisions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organisational abilities and workload management skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.

Desirable

Previous experience within financial services, operations, compliance or administration.
Knowledge of AML, Financial Crime, KYC or Compliance principles.
Relevant AML or Financial Crime qualifications, or a willingness to study towards them.
