Location: Battle Pay: £13.00 per hour Hours: Full Time - Nights

The Role

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting residents throughout the night, ensuring they remain safe, comfortable and well cared for.

Working as part of a dedicated night team, you will provide compassionate, person-centred support to older people, including those living with dementia and other complex conditions.

Your responsibilities will include:

Providing compassionate care and support throughout the night
Assisting with personal care and daily living needs
Supporting residents with mobility and wellbeing
Providing specialist support to residents living with dementia
Responding appropriately to residents' needs during the night
Building positive and trusting relationships with residents
Promoting dignity, independence and choice
Supporting residents with hydration and comfort
Maintaining accurate care records
Reporting any concerns and working closely with colleagues to maintain high standards of care

About You

Minimum 6 months' experience within a care setting
Caring, compassionate and reliable approach
Experience or an interest in dementia care
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Genuine passion for supporting older people
Patient and understanding approach
Ability to deliver person-centred care with dignity and respect
Comfortable working independently during night shifts
Willingness to learn and develop within the role
