Part-Time Bookkeeper Permanent Approx. 1 Day Per Week Flexible Hours Rural location - car owner/driver essential

Mosaic Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper to join a small but growing company within the construction industry. This is a flexible, long-term opportunity for someone who can take ownership of the day-to-day bookkeeping and keep the company's accounts accurate and up to date using Xero.

Key Responsibilities

Day-to-day bookkeeping using Xero.
Process purchase and sales invoices.
Record and allocate incoming and outgoing payments.
Complete bank and supplier reconciliations.
Maintain accurate customer and supplier accounts.
Monitor outstanding invoices and assist with credit control.
Process expenses and receipts.
Prepare information for month-end.
Liaise with external accountants when required.
Resolve account queries and discrepancies.
Maintain accurate financial records.

About You We are looking for someone with:

Previous bookkeeping/accounts experience.
Good practical working knowledge of Xero.
Experience with purchase and sales ledgers.
Bank and supplier reconciliation experience.
Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong organisation and time-management skills.
The ability to work independently and take ownership.
A reliable, flexible and proactive approach.

Experience within construction, trades or a small business environment would be advantageous but is not essential.

Hours Approximately one day per week, with flexibility around the day and hours worked. Due to the rural location, applicants must be a car owner/driver with their own reliable transport.
