Your new role

Are you an organised and proactive finance professional looking for a varied part-time role within a friendly, collaborative business?This business are seeking a Finance Administrator to join a small and supportive finance team. This is a hands-on position offering a broad range of responsibilities across accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, reporting, and general business administration.You'll play a key role in supporting day-to-day financial operations, ensuring transactions are processed accurately and efficiently while helping maintain strong financial controls.Key responsibilities include:

Processing and managing supplier invoices
Maintaining purchase and sales ledgers
Supporting credit control activities and chasing outstanding payments
Performing bank and credit card reconciliations
Allocating receipts and processing journals
Assisting with month-end reconciliations and reporting
Supporting audit requirements and financial record keeping
Liaising with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve finance queries
Supporting process improvements and wider administrative tasks

What you'll need to succeed

We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a varied role and takes pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work.

You'll ideally have:

Experience in an Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant or Finance Administrator position
Knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
Good Excel skills
Excellent communication and organisational abilities
The ability to manage workloads independently and prioritise effectively
Experience using finance systems such as Xero or similar accounting software would be advantageous.
