Job description

This part-time Accounts Assistant role in Bristol is a great fit for someone who enjoys supporting the day-to-day financial operations of a business in the FMCG industry. You'll play a key role in ensuring the accounts run smoothly and accurately, helping the team stay on top of the numbers.

Client Details

Description

Process invoices and ensure they are accurately recorded in the system.
Assist with bank reconciliations and monitor transactions.
Maintain accurate financial records and update ledgers.
Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports.
Handle queries related to accounts payable and receivable.
Assist with VAT returns and other compliance requirements.
Collaborate with the finance team to meet deadlines.
Provide general administrative support to the accounting department.

Profile

A successful Accounts Assistant should have:

Experience in financial or accounting tasks, ideally in the FMCG industry.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
An understanding of basic accounting principles and processes.
Good communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external partners.

Job Offer

A salary between £27,000 and £30,000 per annum, dependent on the level of experience.
A permanent, part-time position based in Bristol.
