Full-time Temporary Assignment

Are you a CIPD Level 5 qualified HR professional with a passion for employee engagement and internal communications?

We're looking for an experienced Employee Engagement Officer to join a busy HR team on a temporary basis through to Christmas. This is an excellent opportunity to lead engagement initiatives, create compelling internal communications, and deliver projects that enhance the employee experience across a large and complex organisation.

The Role

You'll manage a varied portfolio of HR and employee engagement projects, helping to drive people-focused initiatives and strengthen communication across the organisation. Working closely with HR and key stakeholders, you'll develop engaging content, coordinate campaigns, and support activities aligned to wider people and organisational strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Lead employee engagement projects and initiatives across the HR function.
Develop and deliver engaging internal communications content across multiple channels.
Create employee engagement materials, campaigns and events that drive participation and awareness.
Build strong relationships with employee networks, stakeholders and key influencers.
Gather and analyse feedback, engagement data and insights to inform future initiatives.
Support wellbeing, inclusion, learning and organisational change campaigns.
Produce reports and recommendations to support evidence-based decision making.

About You

CIPD Level 5 qualified (or equivalent experience).
Previous experience in employee engagement, internal communications, HR projects or organisational development.
Strong content creation skills with the ability to produce engaging written communications.

Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities.

Experience managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Confident analysing engagement activity and producing meaningful insights.

Immediate start in October
