Job description

As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you'll play a key role in the smooth running of the finance team. Your day-to-day will involve managing invoices, processing payments, and supporting the wider team with financial administration.

Client Details

Our client is based in Ringwood, and due to a busy period and various ongoing projects, the finance team is looking for additional support.

Description

Process supplier invoices and ensure they are accurately recorded.
Handle payment runs and ensure timely payments to suppliers.
Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records.
Support month-end processes, including preparing reports.
Communicate with suppliers to address queries and issues.
Assist the finance team with ad-hoc administrative tasks.
Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.

Profile

A successful Accounts Payable Clerk should have:

Experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
A proactive approach to resolving queries and managing deadlines.

Job Offer

Permanent position.
Salary between £28,000 and £30,000, dependent on the level of experience.
