Job description

This Credit Controller role in Crawley will see you managing credit accounts to ensure payments are received on time, keeping the company's cash flow running smoothly. You'll be handling accounts in the retail industry, working in the Accounting & Finance department to support financial operations.

Client Details

The organisation is well established and based in Crawley.

Description

Monitor and manage customer credit accounts to ensure timely payments.
Chase overdue payments and resolve queries efficiently.
Maintain accurate records of all credit control activities.
Prepare reports on account statuses and outstanding debts.
Liaise with internal departments to resolve account discrepancies.
Assess and set credit limits for new and existing customers.
Ensure compliance with company credit policies and procedures.
Support the Accounting & Finance team with ad hoc tasks as required.

Profile

A successful Credit Controller should have:

Experience in credit control or a similar role in finance.
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Job Offer

A salary between £27,000 and £29,000 dependent on the level of experience.
Located in Crawley.
