Talent Acquisition Coordinator - Peterborough - Law Firm Full Time Permanent Office Based

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join the HR team of a successful and growing law firm in Peterborough.

This is a hands-on recruitment role where you will support recruitment activity across the firm, working closely with hiring managers, candidates and external recruitment agencies to ensure vacancies progress efficiently from initial approval through to appointment and onboarding.

The position would suit someone with experience in internal recruitment, talent acquisition or a recruitment agency environment who enjoys managing multiple vacancies and delivering an excellent candidate and hiring manager experience.

The Role

As Talent Acquisition Coordinator, you will support the full recruitment lifecycle, including vacancy management, candidate attraction and sourcing, interview coordination, selection, pre-employment checks and onboarding.

You will work closely with hiring managers and the wider HR team, ensuring recruitment processes remain organised, consistent and efficient.

Key responsibilities will include:

Coordinating recruitment campaigns and vacancies across the firm from approval through to appointment
Working closely with hiring managers to understand recruitment requirements and keep vacancies progressing
Drafting engaging and effective job advertisements and recruitment materials
Proactively sourcing candidates through LinkedIn, job boards and other recruitment channels
Managing communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process
Liaising with external recruitment agencies and managing agency engagement
Coordinating interviews, assessments and selection processes
Providing practical recruitment guidance and support to hiring managers
Coordinating pre-employment checks and recruitment documentation
Supporting the onboarding process for successful candidates
Maintaining accurate recruitment records and candidate information
Providing updates and recruitment data to the wider HR team
Identifying opportunities to improve recruitment processes, systems and candidate experience
Supporting employer branding and wider candidate attraction initiatives

About You

You will ideally have previous experience working within internal recruitment, talent acquisition or a recruitment agency, with the confidence to manage several vacancies simultaneously.

You should be able to demonstrate:

Experience managing recruitment campaigns and vacancies
Candidate sourcing experience across multiple recruitment channels
Experience using LinkedIn and job boards to identify potential candidates
Experience supporting and advising hiring managers
Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A proactive and practical approach to recruitment
Confidence building relationships with candidates, hiring managers and recruitment agencies
Strong attention to detail
The ability to maintain accurate recruitment records and data

Previous experience within a law firm, professional services, financial services or another regulated environment would be advantageous but is not essential.

Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), recruitment technology or recruitment analytics would also be beneficial.
