About the role

Working alongside experienced property professionals, the Commercial Property Paralegal will support a varied caseload of commercial property matters and play an important part in delivering an excellent service to clients.

Typical responsibilities are likely to include:

Assisting with commercial property sales and purchases
Supporting leasehold transactions, including new leases, assignments and renewals
Preparing and reviewing legal documents and correspondence
Carrying out property searches and Land Registry enquiries
Assisting with due diligence and title investigations
Preparing files and documentation for completion
Liaising with clients, solicitors, agents and other third parties
Managing key dates, documentation and administrative requirements
Supporting fee earners with a varied caseload of high-quality commercial property work
Ensuring matters progress efficiently while maintaining excellent client service

What we are looking for

The successful candidate will ideally have:

Some previous experience of commercial property transactions
Paralegal, Legal Assistant or similar property experience
A genuine interest in developing a career within commercial property
Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
Good written and verbal communication skills
Confidence communicating with clients and other professionals
The ability to manage priorities and work effectively within a busy team
A proactive approach and willingness to learn

Candidates do not need extensive commercial property experience. This could be an excellent opportunity for someone who has developed a good foundation and is now ready to broaden their knowledge and take on more responsibility.
