Internal Comms and Engagement Officer
Location: Flexible

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Internal Comms and Engagement Officer to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will connect colleagues to our vision, ensuring accessible information delivery and effective engagement across the organisation. This position offers the opportunity to introduce innovative ideas, challenge existing practices, and creatively enhance internal communications to support our strategic aims.
Day-to-day of the role:
Lead and manage several of our internal communication channels and engagement forums, including manager communications and colleague forums.
Gather and share engaging content from across the organisation, enhancing our internal narrative.
Support the day-to-day delivery of communication and engagement plans, assisting with internal communications for key projects and teams.
Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation, maintaining high levels of trust and credibility.
Continuously seek improvements in our communication and engagement strategies, introducing fresh ideas and creative solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in creating and delivering high-quality, engaging communication campaigns using various channels such as newsletters, intranet, emails, social networks, and digital signage.
Strong copywriting and editing skills with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple communication projects and meet deadlines.
Good design skills to create effective content for diverse audiences.
Exceptional relationship-building skills, capable of establishing trust and developing relationships across all levels.
Experience with email marketing, editing web content, and using enterprise social networks (Viva Engage desirable).
Ability to deliver staff engagement activities like events, briefings, or workshops.
Photo and video editing skills are desirable.
