Location: London, hybrid

Salary: Competitive, dependent upon experience, circa £35k

About the Firm

My client is a leading Legal 500-listed law firm with offices in London, providing legal services to businesses, lenders, investors and individuals across England and Wales. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and proactive residential property paralegal to join their busy and expanding residential department. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with a minimum of one year's residential experience who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and dynamic legal environment.

The Role

You will provide support to solicitors and partners across a broad range of residential property matters, in conjunction with the department administrator / secretary.

The successful candidate will gain exposure to a varied caseload including:

Residential freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
Residential remortgages and transfers of equity.
Due diligence, title investigations, and property searches.
Preparing legal documents and managing post-completion matters.

Essential Skills and Experience

Minimum of 12 months' experience within a mixed property legal environment.
Good understanding of the conveyancing process from instruction through to completion and post-completion.
Experience handling property searches, Land Registry applications and SDLT submissions.
Strong organisational and file management skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage competing deadlines and prioritise workload effectively.
Professional and confident communication skills.
Strong client care and relationship-building abilities.
Experience dealing directly with clients, agents, brokers, and lenders.
An understanding of post-completion processes and Land Registry requirements.
Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and case management systems.
A proactive, positive, and team-focused approach.
