Job description

A well-established private practice law firm in Newbury is seeking a Conveyancing Paralegal to support its busy and growing Residential Property team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Conveyancing Paralegal or a law graduate with conveyancing exposure who is looking to build a long-term career within private practice.

The Role

You will work closely with fee earners on a high-volume residential conveyancing caseload, assisting on files from instruction through to post-completion.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting with residential conveyancing transactions including freehold and leasehold matters

Preparing contracts, completion statements and supporting documentation

Opening and progressing files from instruction to completion

Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and solicitors

Ordering and reviewing searches

Handling post-completion work including Land Registry submissions

The Ideal Candidate

Previous experience in residential conveyancing as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant

Strong understanding of the end-to-end conveyancing process

Excellent communication and client care skills

Well organised with strong attention to detail

Law graduates with conveyancing experience will be considered
