Marketing and Communications: Location: Tunbridge Wells

Salary: £30,000-£40,000 per annum - dependant on experience

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Are you a creative and proactive with 2 years plus experience in marketing, managing your role? looking to develop your career within a fast-paced events environment?

Personable, professional with high level communication skills- working alonside 3 directors and external business relations.

We're recruiting for an established international events business operating across the health, personal care and pharmaceutical sectors. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of marketing and communications activity for a portfolio of UK-based conferences and exhibitions.

Working closely with the Communications Manager, you'll help deliver multi-channel marketing campaigns designed to increase brand awareness, generate leads and engage key audiences.

The Role

You will be involved across the full marketing mix, combining content creation, email marketing, social media, digital campaigns and event promotion.

Your responsibilities will include:

Delivering marketing campaigns across email, social media, direct mail and web.
Creating engaging and persuasive content for digital channels, websites and printed materials.
Managing and executing email marketing campaigns and reporting on performance.
Creating high-quality marketing collateral using Canva or similar design tools.
Supporting the sales team with effective marketing materials.
Maintaining communications plans and marketing calendars for individual events.
Supporting market research, data analysis and reporting.
Bringing fresh ideas to increase audience engagement and brand awareness.
Attending events as part of the on-site team and capturing content for future campaigns.

About You

We're looking for someone who is curious, organised and keen to develop. You'll enjoy taking ownership of your work while collaborating effectively with colleagues.

You'll ideally have:

At least 2 year's plus experience within a marketing role, ideally within events, B2 B marketing or a similar environment.
Leading and able to demonstrate independent work within your marketing career to date.
Experience delivering marketing campaigns and communications plans.
Hands-on email marketing experience, including campaign creation and reporting.
Experience creating digital marketing assets using Canva or similar.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Confidence managing social media accounts and producing engaging content, including video.
Experience using AI tools for ideas and drafting while maintaining brand voice and quality.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Competent Microsoft Excel skills.

Experience or knowledge of digital marketing and/or a Marketing-related degree would be advantageous but is not essential.
