Job description

We are looking for a highly organised and customer-focused Recruitment Advisor to join our HR and Recruitment team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering a professional, efficient, and inclusive recruitment service across the organisation.

As a Recruitment Advisor, you will manage end-to-end recruitment activities, supporting managers through the hiring process while ensuring compliance with employment legislation, safeguarding requirements, and recruitment best practice. You will be responsible for coordinating recruitment campaigns, conducting pre-employment screening, and providing excellent support to both hiring managers and candidates.

This is a fast-paced role that requires exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering an outstanding recruitment experience.

Location: Wembley, HA9

Salary: £21.41 PAYE - £28.19 Umbrella

Contract: 3 months initially

Hours: Full time - Monday to Friday. 3 days office based (Monday being mandatory day)

Key Responsibilities

Manage recruitment campaigns from advert to onboarding.
Provide expert recruitment and selection advice to hiring managers and stakeholders.
Support and coordinate interviews, assessment centres, and selection activities, ensuring processes are fair, inclusive, and compliant.
Conduct and manage all pre-employment checks, including: DBS checks, CIFAS checks, References, Right to Work verification, Qualification verification, Occupational Health clearances, Employment history and role-specific screening requirements
Issue contracts of employment and offer documentation.
Maintain accurate recruitment records across HR and recruitment systems.
Monitor recruitment activity and ensure timely progression of candidates through the hiring process.
Liaise with candidates, managers, occupational health providers, and external partners to ensure a seamless recruitment experience.
Support recruitment projects, graduate programmes, recruitment events, workshops, and assessment activities.
Champion equality, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility throughout all recruitment and selection practices.
Ensure the highest standards of confidentiality, professionalism, and data integrity.

About You

We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering excellent recruitment services and building positive relationships with candidates and managers.

Essential Knowledge & Experience

Sound knowledge of recruitment and selection best practice.
Understanding of employment legislation and its application within recruitment.
Experience working within recruitment, talent acquisition, or HR administration.
Experience conducting pre-employment screening and onboarding activities.
Experience managing recruitment assignments within a large and complex organisation.
Experience maintaining recruitment systems, databases, and reporting processes.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
