A well-established and respected law firm in Kings Lynn is seeking an experienced Criminal Legal Secretary to join its busy and supportive team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and organised legal secretary who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in providing exceptional administrative support.

The Role

Working closely with solicitors and fee earners, you will be responsible for:

Audio and copy typing of legal documents and correspondence
Managing client communications and enquiries
Liaising with courts, barristers, police stations and external parties
Diary management and arranging appointments
Preparing legal documents and court bundles
Opening and closing client files
Maintaining accurate records and case management systems
General secretarial and administrative support to the Criminal Law department

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have:

Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within Criminal Law
Excellent audio typing and document production skills
Strong organisational and time management abilities
High attention to detail and accuracy
A professional and confidential approach to work
Excellent communication and client care skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems
