Finance Administrator (Progression to Finance Manager)

Location: North Finchley

Salary: Up to £35,000 (with a view to increase to £40k after 3 months)

Contract Type: Full time, Hybrid Working - On-Site Parking

Are you an experienced Finance Administrator looking for a role where you can genuinely develop your career?

Due to a valued team member retiring after 8 successful years with the business, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Administrator to join a growing organisation with a clear pathway to progress into a Finance Manager position.

Working closely with the CEO and senior leadership team, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the finance function while helping to shape and improve processes as the business continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities

Managing Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger
Processing payroll and pension administration
Maintaining the cashbook and completing bank reconciliations
Processing staff expenses and pay adjustments
Managing credit control and debt collection activities
Preparing and issuing sales invoices
Maintaining accurate financial records and general ledger accounts
Liaising with customers, suppliers, auditors and external stakeholders
Supporting quarterly and year-end accounts processes
Reviewing and improving finance procedures and controls
Providing wider administrative support where required

About You

Previous experience in a similar Finance Administrator, Finance Officer or Accounts role
Experience using Sage 50 Payroll and Accounts
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
Strong organisational and communication skills
A proactive approach with a desire to grow and develop within a business
