Role: Payroll Executive

Location: Plymouth

Salary: £, dependent on experience.

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.

Contract Type: Permanent

The Role As a Payroll Executive, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of payroll processes for three group companies, while also contributing to essential financial and administrative tasks. This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your career in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Managing end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Submitting Real Time Information (RTI) to HMRC.
Processing pension contributions and maintaining auto-enrolment compliance.
Resolving payroll queries with professionalism and discretion.
Supporting financial activities, including invoicing, reconciliations, and month-end processes.
Contributing to the enhancement of internal controls and systems.

Skills and Experience

Essential

Proven experience in running end-to-end payroll.
Proficiency in Sage 50 Payroll or similar software.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Advanced Excel skills.

Desirable

A recognised payroll qualification (e.g. CIPP).
Experience managing payroll for multiple entities.
Familiarity with financial systems and journal posting.
