Job description

A well-established client of mine is looking to expand their team and bring on a HR & Payroll Administrator. The business is set for a substantial period of growth over the next few years, so this is a great opportunity to join and grow with the business. The role seamlessly blends HR responsibilities with those in finance, offering a unique position to have more of an impact across the business.

Responsibilities

As a HR & Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for

Preparing and processing the fornightly payroll runs using Sage Payroll
Preparing the payroll journals
Liaising with HMRC over PAYE matters, as well as ensuring legal compliance
Dealing with new starters DBS and RTW checks, as well as offer letters and contracts of employment
Drafting induction programmes for new starters and managing the annual appraisal process
Assist as required with the recruitment of new employees
Maintan accurate and up-to-date information across both finance and HR databases

Requirements

As a HR & Payroll Administrator, you will need

Previous experience in a finance or HR position
Excellent working knowledge of Sage Payroll system
Good attention to detail and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-task environment
