Job description

PR Account Manager

We are looking for a PR Account Manager to join an established communications agency, working across a varied portfolio of clients and sectors.

Our lovely client is happy to look at somebody who works clientside in PR/comms as well as an agency, though you will need to have worked on multiple campaigns at one time and also have been involved with budget planning, as this is a crucial part of the PR account management role.

About You

Some previous PR/communications experience is essential, from agency OR clientside.

Involvement with budget allocation and planning
Ability to handle multiple campaigns at one time
Obviously excellent written communication skills
The ability to turn complex information into clear, engaging stories
Ambition and drive to progress your PR career!

The Opportunity

You're rejoining an incredibly collaborative and supportive team whether there is an outstanding culture with clear path for progression and development within the next 12 to 18 months.

You'll be office based three times a week, but the other two days can be remote, and you will also benefit from flexible start times, so for example, your working pattern could 8am-4pm or 10am-6pm or anything in between those hours - which makes your work/life balance a lot easier!

The Role

As an Account Manager, you will take responsibility for managing client accounts and delivering effective communications activity that supports their wider business objectives.

You will work closely with clients to understand their priorities, develop creative ideas and identify opportunities to raise their profile with relevant audiences.

Your responsibilities will include:

Managing day-to-day relationships with a portfolio of clients.
Developing and delivering integrated PR and communications campaigns.
Providing strategic communications advice and recommendations.
Identifying compelling stories, angles and opportunities for clients.
Building relationships with journalists and securing relevant media coverage.
Writing and editing press releases, features, articles, case studies and other content.
Supporting digital and social media activity where appropriate.
Managing multiple projects, deadlines and budgets.
Briefing and supporting junior members of the team.
Monitoring campaign results and reporting back to clients.
Keeping up to date with news, media trends and developments relevant to clients.
