ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT.

THE MAIN DUTIES OF THE ROLE INCLUDE:

Processing daily bank payments and receipts while maintaining accurate sales and purchase ledgers
Reconciling bank and vehicle funding accounts
Managing vehicle purchase ledger accounts
Preparing month-end reconciliations and supporting nominal ledger processes
Producing weekly and monthly financial reports, analysis, and cashflow information
Assisting with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and journal processing
Using advanced Excel functions, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables, to analyse financial data
Identifying and resolving reporting errors while supporting continuous process improvements
Providing general support to the finance team and undertaking ad hoc duties as required

YOUR PROFILE.

Previous experience in a finance or accounts role
Ideally studying towards an Accountancy qualification or part/full AAT qualified (or equivalent accounting qualification)
Motor trade experience would be advantageous, as would a working knowledge of Kerridge/Drive
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables
Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team

SALARY AND HOURS.

£27,000 per annum
Working hours, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm
The Accounts Assistant role is fully office based
