Job description

This Credit Controller role based in Reading focuses on managing and maintaining debtor accounts to ensure timely payments. You'll play a key part in supporting the financial health of the business within the retail industry.

Client Details

An organisation operating in the retail sector in Reading.

Description

Monitor and manage debtor accounts to ensure prompt payments.

Resolve payment discrepancies and follow up on overdue accounts.

Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and updates.

Prepare and issue invoices, statements, and payment reminders.

Liaise with clients to address queries and payment concerns.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure financial accuracy.

Assist in month-end reporting and account reconciliations.

Contribute to improving credit control processes and systems.

Profile

A successful Credit Control professional should have:

Experience in credit control or a similar accounting role.

Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

Good communication and negotiation abilities.

Proficiency in financial software and systems.

An understanding of accounting principles and practices.

A proactive approach to problem-solving and teamwork.

Job Offer

Salary between £28,000 and £32,000 dependent on the level of experience.
